Experienced And Qualified In Divorce And Custody Matters

Bruce Clement has been licensed to practice law in Washington state since 1970. He is admitted to practice before state, federal and appellate courts, including the Washington State Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, the U.S. Court of Military Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

He retired as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps after a 27-year career in the Army Reserve, and proudly serves many military members and their dependents in family court matters. Before entering private practice, Mr. Clement spent 17 years as a Washington state assistant attorney general, where he gained extensive experience with child support, child abuse and other family matters. He has tried jury and non-jury cases in 22 counties in Washington state, and he is the author of numerous articles and news columns on a wide variety of legal subjects.

He has been interviewed on both ABC News and Good Morning America regarding a high-profile case that highlighted the plight of men and women in the Armed Forces torn between military duty abroad and child custody matters on the home front.
