Melinda has been a paralegal for Bruce Clement since 2002, and feels she’s been very lucky to work beside such a knowledgeable and effective attorney. Over the years, Melinda has also worked effectively with other attorneys at Clement Law Center on family law cases, including assisting on cases with military retirement disputes. Melinda received her AAS decree to become a paralegal from Highline Community College in 1998. Even in college, Melinda knew that she wanted to work in family law area. She is very detailed oriented and able to think “outside the box”. She enjoys helping clients resolve their often-complex legal situations, and truly gets a sense of satisfaction when cases can be resolved in favor of not only the clients, but their children as well. Outside of work, Melinda likes to garden, read, and spend quality time with her family and dog.
Beth has enjoyed working for Clement Law Center since 2002. Although hired as a receptionist, Beth quickly showed her skills with organization and multitasking and was promoted to the office manager position. Beth manages every aspect of the office from answering phones to assisting attorneys as needed. She is compassionate, and is able to assist clients with a professional and understanding attitude. Beth has always been interested in the law and receives satisfaction in helping families who are going through a difficult time. When Beth is not working, she enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her 8 grandchildren.
Alyssa started working full-time at Clement Law Center in May 2019 as our receptionist.
She quickly moved to a Legal Assistance position assisting paralegals, while also assisting the Office Manager with clerical duties. Alyssa worked very hard to obtain a Paralegal Certificate from Green River Community College in 2021 while working full-time at Clement Law Center. She has proven to be an asset to our growing firm. Alyssa continues to help answer phones and assist in the everyday operations. Alyssa handles every client with compassion and ensures that they will be in good hands with our firm.
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys drawing, nature walks and loves her pamper her pets.
Ashley graduated from Tacoma Community College paralegal program in June 2017 with high honors. She initially worked in a family law firm as an intern for a class and fell in love with it. She became a full-time paralegal before even graduating. Family law is something that Ashley is very passionate about. Ashley is a single mom who has been through the difficult and emotional process that is involved with family law. She is glad to be able to assist people who are struggling with the same process. Ashley feels very lucky to be learning from two long time paralegals like Melinda. In her spare time Ashley enjoys playing her Xbox and bowling.
Claudia joined Clement Law Center in 2019 and has become a great asset to our team. She received her AAS degree in 2016 from Renton Technical School. Claudia enjoys working in the family law field and is very knowledgeable regarding court rules. She is very detailed oriented and has a great understanding of family law issues. When not working, Claudia enjoys spending time with family, skiing and spending time outdoors.
